Coles Notes:
If we see an opportunity, we’ll find a way to make the most of it – or we’ll create one.

Background:
Steffi is an Art Director who combines a strategic approach to storytelling with dedication to craftsmanship. She’s inspired by her clients’ business challenges and finding unique ways of solving them, and thrives on figuring out how things work, and why.

In her day-to-day work, Steffi takes great pride in bringing those solutions to life conceptually and executionally. She can make strategic recommendations that will help go beyond the brief. And she can execute end-to-end, across any channel: from new business pitches to a campaign vision from start to finish, to storyboarding that vision in motion (and getting ahead of the sound design), to creating a brand’s social media look/feel/tone.

Steffi is highly conceptual and also drawn to how human behaviour works. She’s also a closet tech nerd who draws on her strong understanding of the technical aspects behind the big ideas she proposes.

Where will you see the greatest value in Steffi?
Challenge her with a tough problem, and she’ll be delightfully aggressive at pushing in a variety of directions for the best solutions. She’ll come up with ideas that transcend the visual and the headline and consider the experience, regardless of the medium.

What is your greatest extravagance?

Extra guac every time.

What sound do you love?

It’s not a sound so much as a lack of sound, but I love when someone is laughing so hard it comes out silent and they are left paralyzed in a shoulder seizure.

What sound do you hate?

My Dad’s sneeze. It’s not so bad on its own, but he always sneezes exactly 17 times, every time.

What is your karaoke song?

Cheese Burger in Paradise – Jimmy Buffet

What would you tell your 16-year-old self?

If you don’t want your forehead to look like one of those jazzy California Raisin characters, put on some damn sunscreen.
